Blackberry jam with violet

Blackberries and violets are the perfect combination in a jam. Season your blackberry jam with violets and eat together with your pancakes!

Ingredients

300 g blackberries
200 g Dansukker Jam Sugar
95 g Dansukker Dark Muscovado Sugar

Flavouring suggestion
70 g candy violets. If you omit this ingredient, cook the jam for a few minutes longer.

Instructions

Rinse and hull the berries. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and cook for 8–10 minutes. Stir occasionally and ensure that the violet candy do not stick to the bottom.

Skim off any foam. Pour the jam into a warm, thoroughly-cleaned jar. Seal. Store in a cool place.
